Where are you located?
KGH Therapy has offices in Miami, Florida. We also work with clients virtually throughout Florida and New York, allowing for flexible access to care.
Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?
Yes. We offer both in person and virtual therapy sessions in Florida, as well as virtual sessions for clients located in New York.
Virtual therapy allows you to receive support from the comfort of your home and can be especially helpful for busy schedules, new mothers, or those who prefer added flexibility.
Do you accept insurance?
We work with all insurance providers in an out of network capacity.
If you have out of network benefits, most insurance plans will reimburse approximately 60 to 80 percent of the cost of each session. We are happy to help you understand your benefits.
Do you submit reimbursement claims? Do you provide superbills?
We submit all insurance claims on your behalf. This means you do not need to submit superbills or wait for reimbursement checks from your insurance company.
You are only responsible for your insurance copay or session fee at the time of your appointment, and we handle the rest.
What are your therapy rates?
Our current rates are as follows:
Individual therapy: $170 for a 45 minute session
Couples therapy: $250 for a 60 minute session
If you have questions about rates or insurance reimbursement, please feel free to reach out.
What if I cannot afford the full rate? Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes. We offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who may not be able to afford the full fee.
If cost is a concern, we encourage you to contact us to discuss current availability and options.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can be helpful if you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure about the direction of your life. Many people seek therapy for anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, motherhood related concerns, or difficulties with self care and boundaries.
During your initial consultation, we will talk about what you are experiencing, your goals, and whether therapy feels like a good fit for your needs.
What is the first step if I want to start therapy?
The first step is a free 15 minute introductory call. This call gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and determine if working together feels like the right fit.
During the call:
You will share what is bringing you to therapy
The therapist will explain their approach
You can ask any questions you may have
We will review rates, insurance, and availability
After the call, you can decide whether you would like to move forward with scheduling.
What types of therapy do you offer?
KGH Therapy provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and postpartum and motherhood therapy. We also offer specialized approaches such as anxiety therapy, trauma therapy, EMDR, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, Body Code therapy, and life transitions therapy.
All services are tailored to your individual needs and goals.
How long does therapy last?
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, needs, and circumstances. Some clients benefit from short term therapy focused on a specific concern, while others choose longer term support for deeper emotional work.
This is something we discuss together and revisit as therapy progresses.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule your free introductory call through our website or by contacting us directly. From there, we will guide you through the next steps.
