Understanding therapy costs and insurance coverage is an important part of choosing a provider. At KGH Therapy, we aim to make this process as clear and straightforward as possible so you can focus on your care.

Insurance Coverage

KGH Therapy is primarily a private-pay practice. However, Kristi also works with select third-party platforms that may allow clients to use in-network insurance benefits depending on their insurance plan, location, and availability.

Insurance participation varies by platform and plan. If you are interested in using insurance, please reach out with your insurance information and we can let you know whether an in-network option may be available.

For clients using out-of-network benefits, reimbursement varies depending on your specific insurance plan, deductible, and benefits.

Insurance Claims and Reimbursement

If you use an in-network option through one of our third-party platforms, claims are handled through that platform, so you typically do not need to submit anything yourself.

If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, please contact us and we can explain what documentation is available for you to submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement depends on your specific plan, deductible, and benefits.
You are only responsible for your session fee or insurance copay at the time of your appointment, and we handle the rest.

Therapy Rates

Our current private pay rates are:

Individual Therapy
$170 for a 45 minute session

Couples Therapy
$250 for a 60 minute session

Rates are subject to change, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about fees during your initial consultation.

Sliding Scale Options

We offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who may not be able to afford the full session fee.

If cost is a concern, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are happy to discuss current availability and determine whether a sliding scale option may be appropriate.

Payment Information

Payment is due at the time of your session. We accept commonly used payment methods and will review payment details with you before your first appointment
